2016 was a year of profound change and political uncertainties, with 2017 looking to follow suite.
In response to this Leeds Beckett Students’ Union in partnership with Leeds Tidal and Leeds for Change are organising a public event where people can explore ideas, politics, and action for a progressive, sustainable, social future.
We’ll be starting the day at 10:30 with an important Opening Panel discussion on how to 'Educate, Agitate, Organise against Hate and Fear?'
In light of current affairs, and a sudden call for a General Election, we are bringing together a panel of activists from across the UK to discuss the big strategies we need to shift popular opinion towards progressive alternatives and away from ‘Trumpism’, hate and fear.
